Week 3 Almost out of MTC!!
Rundown of my week
Guys! This time next week, I will be in the field. I'm actually scared for my life. Anyways I had a really good week,
Christmas at the MTC was such a blessing, so spiritual and so fun. We had to memorize the First vision ( pic below)
so I drew it out for my class. Not too much has happened, just a TON of teaching practice, and so many fire devotionals.
I have gotten so close to everyone here, getting to hear everyone's testimony and seeing kids my age be such amazing
examples has truly changed my life. Everyone here is so cool, it'll Def be a hard goodbye but I'm SO ready to leave!!
Sprinkle of jesus- This is a long one oops
OK I was studying mosiah this week, I've always known prophets were important, but it wasn't until recently I realized
just how important they are! They literally recieve DIRECT revelation from GOD and tell us exactly what we need to
do in this life to have happiness, be successful, be healthy, have good family relations, and make it back to our
heavenly father. So I was brainstorming ways I could apply their teachings in my everyday life, I wanted to challenge
myself to listen to a general conference talk a day as a reminder, but couldn't figure out which talks or from whom to
listen to. Then in relief society my friend that was teaching referenced president Nelson, I got literal chills and just knew
I had to listen to him!
I wanted to invite you all ( holy that was so missionary) to listen or read a president Nelson talk a day for the first
month of January. He has sooo many to pick from, he councils, directs, and teaches us so much, he was called for
US, for this EXACT time! I promise you it will open your eyes and bring you so much comfort knowing that you are
doing exactly what our heavenly father has asked us to do!!
Also PLEASE read Mosiah chapter 4 it's such a banger, some verses that stuck out to me were 6, 9, 15, 24, & 30
Fave scripture of the week
"For none of these iniquities come of the Lord; for he doeth that which is good among the children of men; and he
doeth nothing save it be plain unto the children of men; and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of
his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and
he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile."
2 Nephi 26:33
