ONE MONTH DOWN every time my Bishop sees me he says KIA ORA CUZ ... we're 11th cousins once removed Rundown of my week Hey slayers! We made it out of the MTC! And this week has been crazy, I met my mission mom and she's the best, we love sister Rentschler, we are in South Auckland right on the boarder of the Auckland mish, which is wild, and we're PINK WASHING, which means we're both new to the area and we're the first sisters in over a year. The members are very greatful!.. We've been deep cleaning our flat thanks to the elders there before us and just meeting with a ton of ward members, they're actually all so fun and nice, we do alot of biking and walking cause we have NO miles, but it's good for us, I'm not depressed yet so I think that's a really good start!! people say "cool as" or "big as" and say nothing after the as, It always catches me off guard but I think it's my favorite thing, I can't comprehend...

Week 3 Almost out of MTC!! Rundown of my week Guys! This time next week, I will be in the field. I'm actually scared for my life. Anyways I had a really good week, Christmas at the MTC was such a blessing, so spiritual and so fun. We had to memorize the First vision ( pic below) so I drew it out for my class. Not too much has happened, just a TON of teaching practice, and so many fire devotionals. I have gotten so close to everyone here, getting to hear everyone's testimony and seeing kids my age be such amazing examples has truly changed my life. Everyone here is so cool, it'll Def be a hard goodbye but I'm SO ready to leave!! Sprinkle of jesus - This is a long one oops OK I was studying mosiah this week, I've always known prophets were important, but it wasn't until recently I realized just how important they are! They literally recieve DIRECT revelation from GOD and tell us exactly what we need to do in this life to have happiness, be success...

Week 2!! Merry Christmas Eve in NZ!! My fire week Ok so Thursday I took my family name to the temple which was such a slay, then we got to go see Christmas lights down at the Hamilton temple!!! We were out till almost midnight which is crazy late for missionary life, so the next day half our zone was sick, including my comp but she's doing so much better now! Our teachers started making us stand up and dance because everyone keeps falling asleep in class, but it's honestly my favorite part of the day, and then we got to listen to the provo mtc devo, which was so amazing and yeah that's it! Sprinkle of jesus On Sundays our mtc pres likes to randomly pick speakers DURING sacrament, only a 2-3 min talk but still so scary, anyways this Sunday he gave the promt of sharing our thoughts on the Christmas lights and how Christ is the light of the world, he then said we will be hearing the thoughts of ... Sister Ashton. Guys my heart sank. I looked up at him and he goes uh oh shes g...

FIRST FULL WEEK!!! Hi everybody, so excited its p-dayy Sprinkle of Jesus There is no easy in effort, and no comfort in change. Guys righteous living requires us to do hard things, there wouldn't be good days without bad ones, Jesus Christ is perfect but he does not promise perfection, he tells us every trial is for our good, if it's not a blessing, it's a lesson. Everyday in class a new person either finds or makes up a quote, today's quote says "It is better to choose the harder right than the easier wrong." (shoutout Elder Hifo) so even though it's hard, choose to be happy, choose to put others before yourself, and choose god, cause he loves you! Rundown This past week has been so much fun, we're learning to teach the restoration and the plan of salvation, my class had 5 minutes to look over it and plan a 10 min lesson and oh my it was a dumpster fire, but we're getting there! On Thursday I got to go to the temple and be an escort for my companio...

Kia Ora Everybody!!! Guys, holy, New Zealand is so pretty So much has happened I don't even know where to start Rundown of the last few days OK so I met my comp, Sister Taraiati and I bet you said it wrong, its pronounced Ta-rye-ah-c and she's just the cutest and so silly, I love her. We were assigned to be the Sister training leaders of our little zone! Me and my mtc president and his wife are besties, president Rudd loves to make us sing in front of the whole zone if we're late, but like actually, so that's been so fun. We have a temple trip on Thursday!! So we had to find our own family names and GUESS WHAT the first name I found was a woman name Pauline and she is literally from New Zealand, and I get to do all her ordinances!! And I'm so excited. Sprinkle of Jesus I've always hated praying in front of people and never felt I was good at it, and NEVER offer to say it. But as soon as I got here my cute companion who struggles with Englis...
